NSS and NCC unit of MVJCE organized a plantation drive within the campus on 22nd August 2023 at 9.00 AM. The program was started by welcoming Principal Dr. Suresh Babu V, Vice Principal Dr. Brindha M, Deans, HODs, Teaching and Non-teaching faculty members, and Students. Bhuvana S, an NCC student of MVJCE addressed the participants about the importance and significance of the plantation drive. Later, NSS program officer Dr. Manu and Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Hamem Shanavas handed over saplings to the Principal and Vice Principal to initiate the plantation drive, followed by sapling distribution from the Principal and Vice Principal to all faculties and students who have taken part in the plantation drive within the campus and off campus at various location. Around 800 saplings were distributed to the students and faculties members to take part in the plantation drive. Finally, the program ended with a vote of thanks to all participants who took part in the drive.
