The Departmental Club of the Chemistry Department ‘Chem Life’, organized a Club activity on “Experimenting with Chemdraw”, on 26th June 2024, in Room No.313 ,315, 316 . The event started at 1:30 am and ended at 3:30pm . Students found the event very interesting, interactive and beneficial,and actively took part in this Club activity. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. G.S Manjunatha , Deputy Environmental Officer (Central Pollution Control Board , Regional Office Bangalore)
Round 1: Preliminary Round
In this around 212 students participated , in this round the screening of the teams was done by conducting a preliminary round in which structure of simple chemical compounds were given to students using the software “ Chemdraw” to complete in a stipulated time . Based on their performance in fist round students for second round were selected .
