The IEEE Student Branch, MVJ College of Engineering was started in the year 2017. The branch is registered under the Region-10 of IEEE Bangalore Section. Presently there are eight professional members and thirteen student members.
Dr. H.K Anasuya Devi, Professor, & Immediate Past Chair, IEEE SSIT ES Joint Bangalore Chapter inaugurated the IEEE Student Branch at MVJ College of Engineering on 26th October 2017. She also delivered the inaugural lecture on “artificial Intelligence and its progression”. This visit was organized by Department of ECE.

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System. MVJCE has a recognized local chapter under the ISTE Karnataka Section, and the department of Mechanical Engineering has organized Guest Lectures, Club Activities, Workshops, and Technical Seminars etc. under this college chapter.
