The Fluid Mechanics laboratory is designed to examine the properties of fluids and to conduct experiments involving both incompressible and compressible flow. Facilities are available for investigating the fundamentals of fluid statics as well as kinematics and kinetics of fluid flow to enhance the hands-on experience of our students. It is an introductory course where flow behaviour, fluid forces and analysis tools are introduced.
The students will be able to draft the plan, elevation and sectional views of the buildings, industrial structures, and framed building using computer software’s. It helps to Achieve skill sets to prepare computer aided engineering drawings. It also helps to understand the details of construction of different building elements.
The Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory intends to train the students in the field of testing of soils to determine their physical, index and engineering properties. It is the cornerstone in understanding the underlying conditions of a site, be it natural terrain or man-made ground.
This lab helps in evaluating the strength and robustness of materials, verifying the structural integrity of materials, assessing compatibility with engineering requirements.
The objective of this lab is to help students to understand fundamentals related to concrete, mix design and various admixtures used in concrete.
This lab helps students to analyse physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of drinking water and wastewater.
This lab facilitates students to understand various geological conditions and weather patterns. It trains the students about various types of rocks and soil available.
