A Guest Lecture on the topic “ASIC flow for chip manufacturing” was organized at MVJ College of Engineering on 28th March 2025, providing students with a platform to explore cutting-edge ASIC technology for chip design. The event brought together students, faculty, and industry professionals to discuss advancements in ASIC technologies and explore opportunities related to projects, internships, and careers.
WORKSHOP ON “HANDS-ON AUTOMATION WITH PLC AND SCADA”
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a workshop on ‘Hands-on Automation with PLC and SCADA’, on 28th March,2025 and 29th March,2025. Students from the fourth and sixth semesters along with faculty members from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering participated in the program.
The Department of Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering organized an Addon course on “Numerical study of advanced structures” on December 05, 2024. The event took place at Seminar Hall 2, starting at 02 PM. The expert speaker, Mr. SK Shyam, Senior Associate Engineer, Caterpillar, Bangalore, delivered the lecture. Students from 6th semester Aeronautical and Aerospace engineering attended, making it an engaging and insightful session.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Information Science and Engineering organized an FDP on Cloud Native Applications and AWS in Seminar Hall 6. The event had a Morning Session (AN) that began at 9:30 am, and an Afternoon Session (FN) that started at 1:30 pm, concluding at 3:30 pm on 2nd December 2023. Approximately 30 faculty members actively participated and gleaned valuable insights from all the sessions.
Srishti Club Activity on Model Making of Energy Efficient and Thermal Comfort Buildings
The Srishti Club of MVJ College of Engineering successfully organized a model-making event on Energy Efficient and Thermal Comfort Buildings on 27th March 2025. The event aimed to foster innovation and creativity among students in the domain of sustainable and energy-efficient building designs.
The Department of Chemical Engineering & Civil Engineering organized a Short-Term Training Programme on Sustainable Environmental Technologies and Practices from October 9, 2023 to October 11, 2023 at Seminar Hall 4.
The Faculty Development Program “MODELLING AND ENGINEERING ANALYSIS FOR FUTURE READY INDUSTRY” was successfully conducted, in association with Department of Aeronautical, Aerospace, and Civil Engineering, from 26th March 2025 to 27th March 2025. This FDP was designed to impress upon the Faculty, the importance of Modelling and Engineering Analysis for Future Ready Industry. Overall, 25 faculty members and 47 students registered for event.
One-day Session on “6G and Beyond: Research Applications” was organized by the ECE and IIOT Department on 20th June 2024. The Session received an overwhelming response, with 95 participants.
