The departments of Electronics and Communication (Advanced Communication Technology) & Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology) conducted Board of Studies meeting in hybrid mode on 15th March 2025 in Placement room.
DYNAMECH Club Activity on ‘GD&T TURNIT’ was successfully conducted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with ISTE, IIC and IQAC – MVJCE, on 15th March 2025 From 01.30 to 4.00 pm. This DYNAMECH Club Activity was conducted to influence upon students, the importance of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing about the fabricated components, for their career and future product development. 52 students had attended this event from ME, AE and ASP departments. Mr. Jeevan Kumar P, Scientist D, Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI) Bengaluru was invited as a chief guest for this event.
E-FORZA Club Activity
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized E-FORZA club activity on “Robo Kabaddi/Soccer Competition” under Robotics and Industrial Automation Laboratory.
MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore, in association with Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC) – Ministry of Education Initiative& IQAC, Department of Information and ISE and ME organized a Session on “An Expert talk on Process Of Innovation Development, Technology Readiness Level (TRL)” The event gave an insights and opportunities for students and faculty members regarding process of Innovation Development and technology readiness level.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized the Pre-Conference Workshop preceding the First International Conference IECCT 2025. The Workshop was coordinated by Dr. Shima Ramesh Maniyath (Head of the Department, Dept. of ECE), with the active support of the Departments of ECE & EEE.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at MVJ College of Engineering organized an Add-on Lecture on Machine Learning and Data Science for 6th-semester Computer Science students on March 29, 2025. The session was held at the Seminar Hall from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and was graced by Dr. Kiran Babu T S (Head of the Department, CSE).
The Central Library of MVJ College of Engineering in collaboration with VTU Consortium organized an informative training session on EBSCO and IEEE resources according to the guidelines outlined in the VTU circular. The primary objective of this session was to enhance the knowledge of both students and faculty in utilizing academic databases effectively. By focusing on IEEE and EBSCO electronic resources, the session aimed to strengthen research capabilities and promote educational excellence through improved access to scholarly content.

A one-day industrial visit to STPI IoT Open Lab, Bangalore, was organized by Dr. M. Thilagaraj, Associate Professor and HoD, Department of Industrial Internet of Things, on 10th March, 2025, for the 6th and 4th semester students of IIOT and VLSI.
