Congratulations, Praveen R
We are immensely proud to congratulate Praveen R (1MJ22EC115), 7th Semester, ECE, for his outstanding performance at the CWPC Open Nationals held on 14–15 November 2025. Competing in the Junior category under 90 kg bodyweight, Praveen showcased exceptional strength and determination across four events. In the Raw Powerlifting (SBD) event, he achieved a 195 kg squat, 117.5 kg bench press, and 217.5 kg deadlift. He also excelled in the Push-Pull Only event with a 117.5 kg bench press and 217.5 kg deadlift, and further demonstrated his prowess in the Deadlift Only and Bench Press Only categories, lifting 217.5 kg and 117.5 kg respectively. His remarkable efforts earned him three Gold Medals and one Silver Medal, a testament to his dedication, discipline, and athletic excellence. We applaud Praveen for bringing laurels to MVJ College of Engineering and inspiring his peers with this commendable achievement.
