The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a premier youth organisation under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It aims to develop discipline, leadership, character, and a spirit of service among young citizens through military training and community service.

Objectives:

To develop character, comradeship, discipline, and a secular outlook
To instil leadership qualities and a sense of adventure
To create a pool of organised, trained, and motivated youth for national service
To provide exposure to the armed forces and foster patriotic values

Activities Conducted:

Drill and physical training
Weapon training and firing practice
Adventure camps (Trekking, Mountaineering, Cycling)
Annual Training Camps (ATC), Republic Day Camp (RDC), and National Integration Camps (NIC)
Social service activities like blood donation camps, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, awareness rallies

Benefits to Students:

Preference in defence services and various government jobs
Opportunity to represent the college and state at national camps
Development of discipline, time management, and leadership skills
