TENSOR

The name of this Club, from the AI & ML department, is derived from TensorFlow, which is one of the most commonly used libraries in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

TENSOR –

• The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Club was inaugurated on 28th June 2022 by Aniket Ambedkar, General Manager, Cyber Defence Education, Great Learning, Bangalore.
• The name of this Club from the AI & ML department is derived from TensorFlow, which is one of the most used libraries in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• TensorFlow is a Python-friendly open-source platform for Machine Learning, which helps developers to easily build and deploy ML-powered applications.
• The AI & ML Club aims to provide students with hands-on experience by collaborating with industry experts from reputed organisationsand with pioneers in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The objectives of the Tensor Club are to provide students with a deeper understanding of real-time applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Students can learn both quantitatively and qualitatively about the fundamentals of the course.
• The proposed activities include workshops in various programming languages, outreach activities, networking meets, industry visits, guestlectures, and theme-based Machine Learning projects.
• These activities will propel the participants to engage in team-building workshops while honing the programming skills that they already possess. The Club aims to be a forum for future developers, engineers, and researchers to access the resources that they need to make a mark in the industry. 

Objectives:

• To spark an interest in the field of AI/ML through hands-on activities.
• To create an environment for students interested in AI/ML to explore further.
• To educate students on what exactly Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning are, and to get them interested in ML.
• To familiarisestudents with ML frameworks, workflows and best practices.
• To guide students with project ideas and enable them to move in the right direction.
