18th Dr. M V Jayaraman Inter Collegiate Cricket Tournament-2023

MVJ College of Engineering organizes the sports events in the memory of Founder Chairman, Dr. M V Jayaraman, every year. 18th Dr. M V Jayaraman Memorial Inter-Collegiate Leather Ball Cricket Tournament 2023 has been organized during 20th November 2023 to 28th November 2023.
Ms. Sharda Ugra, Sports Journalist, Dr. Suresh Babu V, Principal, MVJCE, Dr. M. Brindha, Vice-Principal, MVJCE, Dr. Shrinivas L Gombi, Dean Academics, MVJCE, Dr. A C Niranjanappa, Dean Research, in the presence of Mr. Hari Hegde, PRO, MVJCE has inaugurated the tournament at the Smt. Rajalakshmi Jayaraman Seminar Hall on 20th November 2023.

The matches were held at H R Sports Ground, Varthur, Bangalore, in the presence of Dr. Suresh Babu V, Principal, MVJCE, Mr. Hari Hegde, PRO, MVJCE, Sports Committee Members, MVJCE and Mr. Udaya Kumar. V, PED, MVJCE, the knockout matches were conducted from 20th November 2023 to 28th November 2023.

“18th Dr. M V Jayaraman Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament-2023” MVJ College of Engineering. Righthand Fast Bowler taken excellent wicket against RV College of Engineering. On 28th Nov 2023.
The Final match was between MVJCE and RVCE on 28th Nov 2023. The toss won by RVCE and elected to Bat first, scored 118/10. MVJCE chased the target 88/10 and lost the final match against RVCE.
18th Dr. M V Jayaraman Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament-2023 RVCE has become the champions.
The Valediction function was held at the MVJCE campus on 29th Nov 2023. Dr. Suresh Babu V, Principal, MVJCE, Dr. Shrinivas L Gombi, Dean Academics, MVJCE and Dr. A C Niranjanappa, Dean Research, distributed the Runner-Up Trophy along with Certificate cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- to MVJ College of Engineering, and distributed the Winners Trophy along with Certificate with Cash prize of Rs 15,000/- to RV College of Engineering.
“18th Dr. M V Jayaraman Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament-2023” MVJCE won the Runner-Up trophy, Certificates and Cash prize of Rs.10000/- in the presence of Dr. Suresh Babu V, Principal, MVJCE, Dr. Shrinivas L Gombi, Dean Academics, MVJCE and Dr. A C Niranjanappa, Dean Research, MVJCE on 29th November 2023.
“18th Dr. M V Jayaraman Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament-2023” RVCE won the Winner trophy, Certificates and Cash prize of Rs.15000/- in the presence of Dr. Suresh Babu V, Principal, MVJCE, Dr. Shrinivas L Gombi, Dean Academics, MVJCE and Dr. A C Niranjanappa, Dean Research, MVJCE on 29th November 2023.
