• Placement Details The Department of Information Science and Engineering has consistently supported students in securing employment opportunities and pursuing higher education. Over the last three academic years, the department has achieved commendable placement outcomes des pite changing industry recruitment trends. The highest package offered to students of the department was ₹12 LPA during the academic year 2022–2023, secured by Meda Lakshmi Jahnavi, Rachel Margrate S, and Sai Seshadri from Dell International Services India Pvt. Ltd. In the academic year 2023–2024, the highest package offered was ₹8 LPA, secured by Shreya Tandon from Keystride. • Training and Placement Support The Department of Information Science and Engineering places strong emphasis on enhancing students’ technical, analytical, and professional skills to make them industry-ready. To support holistic development, the department provides specialized training pr ograms in aptitude, coding, soft skills, communication, and problem-solving through experienced trainers and industry experts. Students are encouraged to strengthen their programming and problem-solving abilities through regular coding classes, hands-on practice sessions, coding contests, and technical workshops. The department provides access to HackerEarth Labs, enabling student s to participate in coding assessments, practice challenges, and skill enhancement activities. Students are also motivated to actively engage with platforms such as HackerRank and LeetCode to improve their coding proficiency, algorithmic thinking, and inte rview preparedness. To foster innovation and teamwork, the department organizes hackathons, project exhibitions, technical events, and brainstorming sessions that encourage students to develop creative solutions to real-world problems.
