Comprehensive Curriculum

4 year B.E.Circulum

  • Crafted in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP), AICTE guidelines, and the VTU framework, incorporating insights from both industry and academia.
  • The students intake as per VTU guideline is 30.

Details of minors and honors degree

HONORS DEGREE

Eligibility
Students must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 7.5 up to the fourth semester. No pending backlogs.

Registration:
Eligible students can register from the fifth semester by paying a one-time non-refundable fee.

Credit Requirements:
An additional 18 credits are required beyond the standard 160 credits for the B.E./B.Tech. degree. These credits are earned through advanced courses specified by the university.

Completion Criteria:
All Honors courses must be completed before the major degree is awarded. A minimum CGPA of 7.5 must be maintained throughout the program.

MINOR DEGREE

Eligibility
Students must have a minimum CGPA of 5.0 up to the third semester. No pending backlogs.

Registration:
Registration is open after the announcement of third-semester results. A non-refundable registration fee of ₹1,000 is applicable.

Credit Requirements:
An additional 18 to 20 credits are required beyond the standard 160 credits for the B.E./B.Tech. degree. These credits are earned through courses in emerging or interdisciplinary areas.

Completion Criteria:
All Minor courses must be completed before the major degree is awarded. A minimum CGPA of 5.0 must be maintained throughout the program.
