  • Technical Excellence: To be a center of excellence for Mechanical Engineering education by providing the state of the art facilities & learning environment. To mould engineers with sound basics to adopt to latest technologies.
  • Industry Relationship: To promote industry-institute interaction through consultancy services and continuing education programmes and providing specialized programmes as per the need and become active partner for the industries in their R & D work.
  • Competency: Imparting quality education to the students and enhancing their skills to make them competitive Mechanical Engineers. And encouraging students to actively involve in entrepreneurship development.

The Mechanical Engineering program will prepare graduate students such that:

  • Basics Mechanical Knowledge: An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering, and technology to engineering technology problems that require limited application of principles but extensive practical knowledge
  • Mechanical Design: Ability to model and design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within the realistic constraints
