MVJ College of Engineering celebrated the 77th Republic Day in the college Campus on 26th January 2026 at 8:00 AM. More than 100 people gathered for the flag hoisting ceremony, comprising students, teaching and non-teaching staff members. The program started with a guard of honour for the dignitaries by NCC students. Muzarrat Kittur, 1MJ23CS116, welcomed Prof. Guptha, the chief guest, the principal, deans, teaching, nonteaching staff and students to the Republic Day program. Mr Uday Kumar, Physical Education Director, initiated the flag hoisting ceremony. Prof. Guptha, Professor, AE; Prof. Balakrishna Aliveli, Principal, MVJPUC; Dr Brindha M, Dean Administration, MVJCE; Dr Srinivas L Gombi, Dean Academics, unfurled the National Flag, followed by republic day message from the principal. The chief guest, Prof. Guptha, addressed the gathering. The Music Club of MVJCE presented a group performance on the occasion of Republic Day. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms Muzarrat Kittur, followed by the distribution of sweets. The entire event was successfully coordinated and led by Mr Uday, with active participation from the PED and NCC students.
