The NSS unit of MVJCE, in association with MVJ Medical College, organized a Blood Donation Camp to commemorate Founder’s Day, on 16th May 2023, at Smt. Rajalakshmi Jayaraman Seminar Hall, MVJCE, under the guidance of Vice-Principal Dr. M Brindha and Dr. Shivaprakash, Medical officer – MVJCE. More than 20 NSS and NCC cadets volunteered in the camp, along with a team of doctors from MVJ Medical College, to help in successfully conducting the event. The programme started at 09.30 am and continued till 03.30 pm. More than 150 people had registered for the Camp and totally, 70 units of blood were donated. Many teaching and non-teaching staff members as well as students of MVJCE donated blood. The doctors and staff of MVJ Medical College appreciated the volunteers for making this program a grand success by spreading the word about the event in the college campus and for ably assisting them. They also thanked the Principal, Vice principal and Management of MVJCE, for their support.
