The Department of Chemical Engineering, MVJCE, organized an institutional visit to PPISR (Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research) on 21st March 2025. The visit aimed to expose UG Chemical Engineering Students to advanced research facilities and foster industry-academia collaboration. The event provided UG Chemical Engineering students (32 students) with firsthand exposure to cutting-edge laboratories specializing in catalysis, and materials science. Participants engaged with advanced instrumentation, gaining practical insights into their industrial and research applications. Interactive sessions with PPISR scientists deepened understanding of experimental design and data analysis, while case studies highlighted chemical engineering’s role in solving global challenges, such as environmental remediation and energy storage. These experiences not only enhanced technical knowledge but also ignited student interest in postgraduate research and interdisciplinary careers, fostering valuable connections for future internships and collaborative projects.
