On Saturday, April 5th, 2025, MVJ College of Engineering hosted its Alumni Gathering of Class of ’99: Silver Jubilee Celebration in the Smt.Rajalakshmi Seminar Hall. This event was organized to reconnect, celebrate their successes, and reminisce about their time at the college.
The Department of Mathematics, MVJ College of Engineering, has organized a MATLITE Club Activity ‘Math Mapping Treasure’ on 5th of April 2025 at seminar hall 6.
A Guest lecture on ‘Applications of Numerical methods in Engineering’ was organized by the Department of Mathematics, MVJCE on 5th April 2025. The lecture was organized at M V Jayaraman Auditorium for the First-year students.
An Industrial Visit to IISc on its Open Day was organized by the AIML Department on 1st of March 2025, from 08:30 pm to 4:30 pm. to provide students with an experience of scientific research and technological advancements. It aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications in various scientific fields.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at MVJ College of Engineering organized an Add-on Lecture on Machine Learning and Data Science for 6th-semester Computer Science students on March 29, 2025. The session was held at the Seminar Hall from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and was graced by Dr. Kiran Babu T S (Head of the Department, CSE).
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has organized the club activity under E-FORZA “TechXcel – Engineering the SDG Revolution” on 29.03.2025. Participating students across various streams had to exhibit their project designed from scratch in this competition. This competition is a unique testing the ingenuity, assembly skills, and understanding of practical problems in the Sustainable Development Goals. 103 students from ECE and various other branches, including students of second year, and third year students participated in this club activity
The Departments of EC(Advanced Communication Technology) and Industrial IoT organized an add-on lecture on the topic ‘Communication Systems’ on 29.03.2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, in Seminar Hall-3. Students from 4th semester EC(ACT), Industrial IoT and ECE department attended the add-on lecture. The Lecture was delivered by Dr. V S Gangwar, Scientist-F & Project Director-RUHM, Defense Research and Development Organization, Bangalore.
The meeting began with Dr. Santhosh N, HoD (in charge), Dept of Mechanical Engineering, thanking the esteemed management, Principal, Deans, COE, Registrar, and esteemed members of the Department Advisory Committee (DAC), to the meeting.
