International Yoga Day – 2023

The NSS unit of MVJCE commemorated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2023, at 3:00 pm, in Drawing Hall-148. Around 45 students and 5 teaching staff participated in this programme.

The Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering organised a Guest Lecture on Engineering Thermodynamics, on 16th June 2023, at Dr. M V Jayaraman Auditorium, from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm.
The MVJCE girls repeated their stellar performance at the VTU-Inter Collegiate Inter Zone / State level Kho-Kho Women’s Tournament, held on 12th & 13th January 2023, at BLDEA, Bijapur. They were the 1st Runner Up at this tournament.
MVJCE Kho-kho Men team have won the Runner-up in the VTU-Bangalore North Zone Tournament held on 17th & 18th June 2022 at Acharya IT, Bangalore and qualified to participate in the Inter-Zone/State level tournament. MVJCE team have achieved 3rd Runner-up which was held on 19th & 20th June 2022 at GMIT, Davanagere.
We are delighted that Team Dhwani, the Music Club of MVJCE, has won prizes for the following events conducted at Cultura-23, at CMRIT, on 09.06.2023.

G20 DANCE CONTEST was a solo dance competition conducted for the students of MVJCE. It was held on 14th of June, 2023.
One earth one family one future life (lifestyle for environment) . The G20 ELOCUTION competition organized by our club, Saahitya, was scheduled for 30th June, a Friday, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
A Guest Lecture on ‘Export and Import of Chemicals and their Allied Products’ was organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering, MVJCE, on 10th June 2023, from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon, at Seminar Hall 6, MVJCE. The Guest Speaker for the event was Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Venkatesan, Research Analyst, Sandler & Travis, Bangalore. The lecture was attended by 40 participants (both students and faculty) from MVJCE.
