The Department of IIOT successfully organized a one-day workshop on “Python Programming & Its Certifications” on 8th March 2025, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the NI-LabVIEW Lab (Room No 203). A total of 39 students from the 4th semester IIOT, VLSI, ECE, and 6th semester IIOT actively participated in the workshop. The sessions were conducted by the resource person namely Mr.Muthukkumar R., Senior Silicon Validation Engineer, Tessolve Semiconductor, Bangalore.

Rural & Urban Development – Role of Smart Cities

Department of Civil Engineering, MVJCE, organized a Guest Lecture on “Rural & Urban Development – Role of Smart Cities”, on 21st March 2025. The main objective of the event was to encourage students to look beyond their theoretical knowledge and co-relate the theories they learn in the classroom with the application of Rural & Urban Development for the of Smart City upgradation. The event was conducted in seminar hall 6. Total 50 students and all the faculty members from the Civil Engineering department participated.

The Department of Industrial IOT organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “The Era of Digital Transformation (IoT, AI) – Industry Outlook” on 21/03/2025. This event was held at Seminar Hall 5. The expert speaker was Mr. Anil Kumar Patchipulusu, Director, R&D Engineering, IPG, Synopsys, Bengaluru, India. A total of 110 participants had attended the guest lecture from various departments of IIOT, ECE, EC (ACT).

3D Printing Design – Additive Manufacturing

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Two days Workshop on “3D Printing Design – Additive Manufacturing” under Robotics and Industrial Automation Laboratory(Robo Club). In this workshop, students had to design and prove their endurance in a design of 3D model using TinkerCAD software designed from scratch. This was conducted and coordinated by Prof. L. David William Raj (AP/ECE) and Dr. Subhradip Mukherjee (AP/ECE). 51 students from Various departments 2nd and 3rd Year participated in this workshop. The program was started at 10.00 AM on 20th March 2025.

AVINYA – 2025 (under the aegis of ANRF (SERB) – INAE Innovation Hackathon)

AVINYA 2025, a 30-hour continuous hackathon, was organized by MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore, in collaboration with the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) under the aegis of ANRF (SERB) – INAE Innovation Hackathon on 19th and 20th March 2025. This event, which derives its name from the Sanskrit term meaning “innovation,” aimed to promote creativity and the generation of groundbreaking ideas among engineering students from various institutions. Participants were encouraged to explore themes related to healthcare and management, smart vehicles, cybersecurity, and blockchain. The event featured distinguished guests, keynote speeches, and a series of activities spread over two days.

Club Activity on FPGA Based Design

Club Activity on FPGA Based Design

FPGA based Design was conducted by VLSI Design and Technology MVJCE on 19th March 2025. In this event, students were given industry-based problem statements 5 days prior and were asked to find solutions theoretically and through simulation. Students were asked to form a group of maximum 4 and Minimum 2. A total of 8 teams registered and 8 teams have participated in this club activity.
