One earth one family one future life (lifestyle for environment) . The G20 ELOCUTION competition organized by our club, Saahitya, was scheduled for 30th June, a Friday, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
A Guest Lecture on ‘Export and Import of Chemicals and their Allied Products’ was organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering, MVJCE, on 10th June 2023, from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon, at Seminar Hall 6, MVJCE. The Guest Speaker for the event was Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Venkatesan, Research Analyst, Sandler & Travis, Bangalore. The lecture was attended by 40 participants (both students and faculty) from MVJCE.
A Five-days’ FDP was organized by ECE and IIOT Department on Industrial Internet of Things from 6th to 10th June 2023. The FDP program received an overwhelming response, with thirty participants. This FDP included technical sessions from resource persons of reputed Industries/Academia along with demonstration and hands-on experience on topics such as Industrial automation, Thingspeak, Ubidots, Wireless communication and Web app controller.
The Department of Civil Engineering, MVJCE, organized an Industrial Visit for Final Year students, to heritage site Rangasthala, Bangalore, on 2nd June 2023. Faculty members Prof. Shambhavi Tadkal, Prof. Vidhya Carmel and Prof. Leenu Paul accompanied the students. The main objective of the visit was to give a ‘field’ experience to students, on various Civil Engineering concepts.

A group of 43 students pursuing 6th and 8th semester chemical engineering, along with two faculties visited Khannal Foods situated in Malur. Khannal Foods is a known food processing enterprise recognized for its superior food items and strict compliance with industry norms. The primary objective of the visit was to offer the students a hands-on experience in diverse facets of food processing, encompassing fumigation, food processing, food packaging, and quality assurance.
The VI and VIII semester Chemical Engineering students were provided with an educational opportunity to visit a demethanation plant that specializes in the conversion of household waste into methane gas. The purpose of this visit was to offer students a direct comprehension of the complete conversion process, which encompasses waste segregation up to the ultimate purification phase.
