The Department of Physics organised a club event titled “Physics quiz competition” on June 9, 2025. The event commenced at 1:00 PM and concluded at approximately 4:00 PM, consisting of two rounds of competition. The first round of the quiz competition occurred from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM across various rooms (210, 212, 213, 215, 216, and 217). From these, 25 students were selected to advance to the second round, which took place from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM in room 222, attended by guest Prof. S Kasthurirengan. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. The first prize of Rs. 1000 was awarded to Sana Rehman(1MJ24AE073); the second prize of Rs. 500 went to Harini Y S (1MJ24EC049); and the third prize to D Prince Anthony (1MJ24EC031). Additionally, participation certificates were issued to the remaining 22 participants.
