A webinar on “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Applications in Chemical Engineering”was organized by Department of Chemical Engineering, MVJCEon 08.05.2021 from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm through online mode and the session was conducted in Webex platform. The Guest Speaker for the event was Dr. Ravindra D Gudi, Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Bombay.The webinar was attended by 120 participants from inside (faculty and students) and outside MVJCE
The Department of Chemical Engineering, MVJCE, organised a Guest Lecture on ‘Environmental Sustainability and Pollution Prevention’ by Dr. B C Meikap, Professor, IIT Kharagpur. The session was conducted online, from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm, on 21.11.2020 in Webex platform. The webinar was attended by 172 participants from inside (faculty and students) and outside MVJCE. The topics covered were pollutants emitted from the industry, harmful effects of those pollutants and advanced technology adopted in industry to solve this problem
Department of Chemical Engineering, MVJCE, organised a webinar on ‘Advancement of Membrane Technology for Societal, Medical and Industrial Applications’. The Resource Person was Dr. Surya Murali Racha, working as Senior Research Scientist in Refining R&D of Reliance Industries Limited at Navi Mumbai. The webinar was conducted as Microsoft teams live event, from 2 to 4 pm, on 07.11.2020. The webinar enabled the attendees to build and strengthen their knowledge in membrane technology and its applications in the present scenario.
