Guest Lecture on ’Recent Developments in Mechanics of Materials’
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering organised a Guest Lecture on ‘Recent Developments in Mechanics of Materials’, on 4th February 2023, at Dr. M V Jayaraman Auditorium, from 10:00 am to 12.30 pm. The Resource Speaker was Mr. Salim Basha, Program Manager, Alstom India Ltd., Bangalore. The Lecture was organized for the 3rd Semester students of Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering (31 students from ME, 90 from AE and 57 from AS). Miss. Kesiga and Miss. Anupama, 3rd Semester students, Department of Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering, hosted the event.
Guest Lecture on ‘Battery Technology for Electric Vehicles’
The Department of Mechanical Engineering organised a Guest Lecture on ‘Battery Technology for Electric Vehicles’, on 16th December, 2022, at Seminar Hall 6, from 1:30 pm to 4.00 pm. The Resource Speaker was Mr. Robin George, Vice President, Log9 Materials Pvt. Ltd. The Lecture was attended by around 120 participants – Mechanical Engineering students from the second, third and final year.
Guest Lecture on Additive Manufacturing
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in association with DYNAMECH, IIC, IQAC-MVJCE, organized a Guest Lecture on “Additive Manufacturing” on 24th Oct 2020, Saturday from 01.45 PM to 04.15 PM. The speaker was Mr. Sunil G S, Mercedes Benz Research and Development India ltd. The session provided insights to state-of-the-art recent trends and advancements in additive manufacturing, digital data exchange in new manufacturing processes and opportunities for our students in the domain of additive manufacturing. The 5th and 7th semesters students and the faculty of the department attended the lecture
