Report on Add-on Lecture on ‘Communication Systems ‘

The Departments of EC(Advanced Communication Technology) and Industrial IoT organized an add-on lecture on the topic ‘Communication Systems’ on 29.03.2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, in Seminar Hall-3. Students from 4th semester EC(ACT), Industrial IoT and ECE department attended the add-on lecture. The Lecture was delivered by Dr. V S Gangwar, Scientist-F & Project Director-RUHM, Defense Research and Development Organization, Bangalore.

With AI-driven solutions optimizing processes, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experiences, organizations worldwide are integrating AI into their core strategies. Recognizing the significance of these advancements, the Department of Management Studies at MVJ College of Engineering organized a two-day Short-Term Training Program (STP) on “Application of AI and Generative AI in the Corporate World” on the 28th and 29th of March 2025. The training aimed to equip MBA students with hands-on experience in AI-powered business solutions and prepare them for the evolving corporate landscape.

Students from the fourth and sixth semesters along with faculty members from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering participated in the program.

The Department of Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering organized an Addon course on “Numerical study of advanced structures” on December 05, 2024. The event took place at Seminar Hall 2, starting at 02 PM. The expert speaker, Mr. SK Shyam, Senior Associate Engineer, Caterpillar, Bangalore, delivered the lecture. Students from 6th semester Aeronautical and Aerospace engineering attended, making it an engaging and insightful session.
