Curriculum
  • The EEE Curriculum, based on NEP guidelines, focuses on offering a multidisciplinary education and lets students choose their courses through a Choice Based Credit system, in line with NEP recommendations.
  • In the first year, students start with learning basic electronics, electrical engineering, and programming, and they also get introduced to modern technologies like IoT and cybersecurity.
  • In the second year, students focus on learning more about electrical and electronics topics like Electric Circuit Analysis, Electrical Machines, Analog and Digital Electronics, Power System Engineering, and programming with Microcontroller and OOPS with C++ for Electrical Engineering, building on what they learned in the first year.
  • In the pre-final year, the curriculum mainly includes advanced topics like Smart Sensor Systems, Power Electronics with MATLAB, Control System Engineering, Solar PV Technologies, and Micro Grid, while also including Technical Management for the Electrical Industry to develop management skills and foster entrepreneurship in students.
  • During this year, students are urged to work on mini projects to enhance their understanding while developing important skills like critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication.
  • Students have the option to choose professional elective courses based on their interests, with offerings including emerging technologies like Solar PV Technologies, Embedded Systems, Introduction to IoT, and Microgrid.
  • The final year curriculum focuses on technical skills in areas like switchgear, power systems, electric drives, PLC/SCADA, and IoT applications, tailored to meet the demands of evolving industries in electrical and electronics engineering.
  • Open Elective courses in the curriculum provide students with interdisciplinary learning opportunities, fostering a well-rounded education and allowing them to develop diverse skills beyond their core subjects.
  • The curriculum emphasizes technical skill development through courses like Domestic Wiring, Digital Logic Design using Integrated Circuits, and Troubleshooting and Diagnosis of Electrical Appliances, strategically scheduled throughout the program to provide ongoing opportunities for improvement.
  • The curriculum also prioritizes holistic development by including subjects like Universal Human Values, NSS (National Service Scheme), and Physical Education, aiming to nurture well-rounded individuals prepared to positively impact society.
