DEPARTMENT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & MACHINE LEARNING

  • The B.E. in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data visualization and Cloud Computing. The program equips students with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required for successful careers in data-driven industries.
  • The curriculum integrates core computer science principles with specialized courses in emerging technologies such as Data Science, Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Reinforcement Learning, MLOps, and Cloud Computing.
  • To ensure industry relevance, the curriculum is periodically updated through inputs from industry experts, academicians, alumni, and other stakeholders. It follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with a total requirement of 160 credits.

  • The program offers Professional electives in advanced technologies such as Cyber Security, DevOps, Blockchain, Mobile Application Development, Computer Vision, and Distributed Systems. The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning through Flipped classrooms and project-based learning, Hands-on laboratory sessions and workshops., Case studies, seminars, and technical activities, Internships through Swappable Semester and Two-Semester Internship schemes.
  • Students gain practical expertise in Python Programming, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Database Management Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Algorithm Development & Analysis. The program also includes Ability Enhancement Courses, Professional Ethics, Universal Human Values, and Indian Knowledge Systems to support holistic development.
  • Throughout the programme, students undertake projects that apply Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning techniques to solve real-world industrial and societal challenges, thereby fostering innovation, research aptitude, entrepreneurship, and industry readiness.
